| The chocolate version |
This has to be the most scumptious roll you'll ever taste. It is extremely light and so far everytime I have made it everyone rated it 5 stars. The recipe was originally for a chocolate yule log but people in my family are not too keen on chocolate cakes so I decided after having done the chocolate version for Christmas that I would try a vanilla version instead...
The recipe for the chocolate version is here : Chocolate Yule Log , and for the vanilla version I took all the chocolate parts out. In the whipped cream I added a teaspoon of pure vanilla essence and a measure of Baileys to give it flavour. I love it!
